We need the company of others who will not be judgmental of what a mess our biologic children have made of their lives and their children's lives, and in many cases our lives.....

Too often those outside the sphere see us as the ones who have failed. We failed our child in their upbringing, in their discipline, in their way of life.

Why should we be allowed to raise another generation to fail.

There had to have been something we could have done to change their path.

There had to have been clues to what they were doing.

We come together to forgive one another.

We come together to reinforce one another.

We come together to share hope, sorrow, grief, laughter, joy and the day to day issues that we deal with.

The scope of parenting again well after the time we thought we were through is enormous.

We need to be reminded to walk the right path.

We need to be reminded to care for ourselves and the rest of our family.

We need to know that we alone cannot make all the hurts, all the pain, all the stress go away.

We need to learn how to deal with it without internalizing to a breaking point.

All these things we offer each other through message boards, chat rooms, physical suport groups are a necessary part of the task we have undertaken.
